A bit about me.
I am a Scottish painter living in Somerset who loves to paint en plein air, especially in more challenging weather conditions. I am inspired by wild places with little evidence of man, focusing on the relationship between land and sea or lake. I have used ink since graduating from Grays in Aberdeen and continue to push the boundaries by using it wet-on-wet and then wet again. I also paint in oils and enjoy the ambiguity of monoprint using oils.
I run workshops on exploring ink which promotes confidence in using the wonderful medium of ink. The paintings I have loaded reflect my travels around Somerset and further afield to Orkney and Iceland. Please contact me if you have any enquiries about my work. Thanks for looking.
